Batemans Bay

to prepare for the upcoming summer holiday season. Over 140 exhibitors
will be on hand to display and sell an extensive array of products and
services that will offer the best the caravan and camping industries
have to offer.

recreational vehicles, or other leisure time equipment, it will be here
waiting for you. Additionally, there will be lots of folks around just
waiting to demonstrate how the newest and coolest of the latest casting
techniques and equipment works. If you are looking for doing some water
activities this summer, you really need to check it out and see what you
can add to your ever-growing supply list.
Last year’s inaugural Netti MTB Cycling Enduro sold out fast! This year,
there is an increase of numbers for entrants, but they will not last
long. Held typically for the month between June and July, there are
fantastic vantage points for spectators to watch as the cyclists pass by
on their journey. The previous trails have been replaced by a single
track, rolling hills, challenging fire trails and beautiful berms. You
will discover the most incredible mountain bike trails that Australia
has to offer.
The George Bass Marathon is held every other January (in even numbered
years). Hailed as the toughest surfboat race in the world, crews row 180
kilometres from Batemans Bay to Eden. The history of this race is almost
as important to the racers as the race itself. Back in 1798, George Bass
and his crew of naval officers sailed the coast of Australia in a
whaling boat. This event is held in his memory. Crews of men and women
work together as a team to compete against other teams in an attempt to
win the overall event. The week long event is quite the test of will and
skill.
